ORIFORI Lamp 04 – Peapod/ M

The ORIFORI Lamp is created through an exploration of folding, inspired by the structural principles of Japanese origami.

It is based on the concept of ORIFORI TEXTILE, in which a single folding pattern can generate a variety of three-dimensional forms. For this piece, the textile is shaped and fixed as a pendant lamp, ready to use in the interior.

Made from lightweight polyester felt, the surface features a geometric puff-print pattern in beige. The subtle difference in thickness between the printed areas and the base fabric naturally guides the folds, transforming a flat textile into a sculptural three-dimensional form.

In daylight, the lamp reveals its geometric structure and tactile surface. When illuminated, light passes through the folded textile and highlights the pattern from within, creating a warm amber glow and giving the lamp a different expression.

Its sculptural form brings a distinctive yet calm presence to warm, minimal and contemporary interiors.
